A small child locator has given William new freedoms. This has been difficult since he is deaf but still has lots and lots of energy! He wears a little bear transmitter and I carry a locator. We live on 9 acres away from the road and tucked in the woods. When he is out of my sight (most of the time behind a tree or bush only feet from me) I can activate the transmitter which causes the bear to emit a high pitched alarm. I know where he is immediately and he can actually hear it and stops, turns around and heads for me or the house. It's wonderful! |
